Buddy Benches

No child should have to suffer being bullied. feeling sad, scared or lonely. Although, as adults, we cannot protect our children from these feelings all the time we can at least help them reach out to other children by providing a buddy bench. A buddy bench is a place where a child can sit when feeling sad, lonely or bullied. Other children can come over and offer support by providing friendship through sitting, talking, going for a walk or inviting them to play.

The buddy bench is a safe haven. A request for help and friendship. A child only needs to sit on the bench and help is on the way.
